Evea L. Lemmon

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Evea L. (Furlow) Lemmon, 93, of Marissa, passed away at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the Freeburg Care Center at Freeburg, Ill.

Evea was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was born June 28, 1917 at Old Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of Edward and Alvira (Bowlin) Furlow.

She married Harley S. Lemmon and he preceded her in death on June 8, 1996.

She is survived by two daughters - Betty Galbraith of Showlow, Ariz. and Lilly Mae (Edward) Smith of Belleville, Ill., one son - Harley D. (Jane) Lemmon of Baldwin, Ill., five granddaughters, one grandson, four great granddaughters and seven great grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter, three brothers - Gene Furlow, James Furlow and Orville Dean Furlow and one son-in-law - Patrick Galbraith.

Private graveside services for family were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Paradise Cemetery at Tamaroa with Rev. Wilbur Franklin officiating.

Burial was in the Paradise Cemetery at Tamaroa, Ill.

Friends may make memorials to the Paradise Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
