Federal Storm Damage Teams in Perry County

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Over the next two weeks officials from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be in the region, including Perry County, working with local emergency management officials for an assessment of the damage that occurred from the April 19 storm and recent flooding.

Part of the assessment process will be reviews of preliminary damage submitted to IEMA by the Perry County Emergency Management Agency and Du Quoin Emergency Services and Disaster Agency.

Additionally, assessment teams will conduct on-scene assessments of damaged property.
