Michael Lloyd Heard

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Michael Lloyd Heard, age 31, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011 in his home.

Michael was born on June 8, 1979 in Du Quoin, Ill., a son to David A. and Cheryl A. (Nehring) Heard. He was a welder and loved fishing, hunting and shooting guns.

Survivors include his mother, Cheryl A. Folden of Tampa, Fla.; father, David A. (Debbie) Heard of Coulterville, Ill.; maternal grandmother, Mary Nehring of Pinckneyville, Ill.; significant other, Rebecca Arndt of Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Brianna Heard of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Joe (Amy) Heard of Benton, Ill. and three stepsisters, Dawn Rackley, Tara Rackley and Crystal Rackley, all of Coulterville, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Arthur Nehring and paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Evelyn Heard.

Funeral services were held at Concord Baptist Church, Rice, Ill. on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Bryant Harris officiating. Interment was in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday at Concord Baptist Church, Rice, Ill., from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
