</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Now is the time to make the appointments for your child's physical, dental and vision exams. If your child attends EAC at the present, they have received their forms in the mail for what is required for the next school year. If your child is just starting Kindergarten that student needs a physical, dental and vision exam. If your child will e entering 2nd grade, they need a dental. If your child is entering 6th grade, they need a physical and dental. These need to be completed before the start of school in August. The first day of school is August 16.

If your child will be entering 5th, 7th or 8th grade, and plans to participate in extra-curricular activities, they will need a sports physical. They forms were sent home via the students on May 16. These must be completed and turned in before the student may participate in any extra-curricular activity. Baseball & Softball begins around August 1.
