Du Quoin Library Summer Program: 'Mid-Summer Knight's Read'
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Knights, swords, shields and dragons are only part of a great summer reading program in store for patrons of the Du Quoin Public Library this summer.
The library is awash in summer activities and the Du Quoin Evening Call will be there for all of them as the summer unfolds.
Kids are King as the library puts together its summer reading program, but there is something for everyone--students, adult patrons, genealogy buffs and new book enthusiasts.
Here is the basic calendar of events and the newspaper will key on the major ones during the summer:
Saturday, June 11-Story Time at 11:30 a.m.
Monday, June 13--Library Board of Trustees at 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, June 14--Beginning genealogy at 6 p.m.
Thursday, June 16 2 p.m.-- 'Perfectly Martha' Readers' Theatre for Kids at 2 p.m.
Tuesday, June 21--"Food for Thought" book club at 6:30 p.m. and Beginning Genealogy II at 6 p.m.
Saturday, June 25--Story Time at 11 a.m.
Tuesday, June 28--Beginning genealogy III at 6 p.m.
