COSTELLO ANNOUNCES DISASTER RECOVERY INFORMATIONAL MEETING

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL), in conjunction with Senators Durbin and Kirk, Governor Quinn and Congressman Shimkus, announced today that there will be a public meeting with representatives of federal, state and local agencies to provide information on disaster relief and recovery assistance available to individuals who experienced loss due to the flooding and high water in Southern Illinois.

Representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) will be attending and giving information about assistance available and the process to apply for assistance.

Individuals who are interested but cannot attend should call a toll free number, 800-621-3362, for information and registration or apply on-line at www.fema.gov.

The informational meeting will be held this Saturday, June 11, at11:00 a.m. at the Egyptian School cafeteria, 20023 Diswood Road in Tamms.
