COUNTRY Youth Classic Registration Deadline Fast Approaching
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[WHAT: Young golfers have until Friday, June 17 to sign up for the 10th annual COUNTRY Youth Classic. As one of the largest youth golf tournaments in the United States, the Classic tees off at six Bloomington-Normal courses June 27.
WHO: The COUNTRY Youth Classic is open to boys and girls ages 3 to 22. Golfers from 26 states and 14 countries have competed in past years, making this tournament one of the premier youth golf competitions in the country. The COUNTRY Youth Classic is sanctioned by the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA). The Classic is again proud to partner with Special Olympics Illinois for a Special Needs Division.
PRIZES: To celebrate 10 years, golfers have the opportunity to score some great prizes. As part of this year's skills competition, golfers will be entered into a drawing for a Callaway golf bag, custom wedges, tickets to a PGA tournament and more cool prizes.
The Classic features 24 flighted divisions, a parent-child tournament and the COUNTRY Skills Challenge. Awards are given to golfers in each division for the tournament and skills competition. The Classic has again teamed up with the Pepsi Little People's Golf Championships in Quincy to crown a Grand Champion in the 7-B and 7-G divisions based on overall score between the two tournaments.
SCHEDULE: Golfers entry fee includes:
· Practice Round, Skills Challenge and dinner on Monday, June 27
· Opening Round and lunch on Tuesday, June 28
· Final Round and lunch on Wednesday, June 29
