George L. Fink, 83

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[George L. Fink, 83, of Belleville, IL and formerly of Red Bud IL, born Feb 26, 1928 in Riley Lake IL, died Sunday May 29, 2011 in Red Bud.

Mr Fink was owner of Atlanta Asphalt Co of Belleville, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ in Red Bud, and Masonic Blue Lodge of Belleville.

He was preceded in death by his wife Phillis, nee Hentis, Fink, who died on Oct 3, 1973; parents Joyce and Bernice, nee Louveau, Fink; and three brothers, John, Graydon and Richard Fink.

Surviving are his children, Deborah (Jeff Goodman) Albert of Valmeyer, Trudy Barbeau of Red Bud, and Susan DuFrenne (Wayne) of Prairie du Rocher; special friend, Marilyn Amburn of Belleville; grandchildren Chief Warrant Officer Quinn Albert, Jill Barbeau, Sara Stiles, Paige (Joe) Baumgartner and Bethany DuFrenne; and great-grand children Lauren and Taylor Albert.

It was his wish to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
