</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Howard "Boop" Derossett, 79, of Murphysboro, passed away at 7:15 P.M. Sunday, May 29, 2011, at his home in Murphysboro, IL.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church in Murphysboro with Rev. Charles Walden officiating. Burial will follow at the Ava Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation was held at First Presbyterian Church, Murphysboro on Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm and on Thursday from 9 to 10 am.
