</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Judy Wolter's homeroom class at Chester High School recently collected the most money of any homeroom at CHS in the 2011 Pennies for Patients drive to fight cancer. The CHS Life Jackets host the annual event to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with a free pizza party as the incentive for the homeroom that collects the most money. Wolter's class collected $58.00 and as can be seen in the picture thoroughly enjoyed their pizza party. At the time of the party the school had collected a total of $208.00, but Life Jacket member and chairperson of the event, Tawnee Keel, raised an additional $92.00 from local merchants to make the grand total $300.00. This is the third year in-a-row that the Life Jackets have sponsored the Pennies for Patients Fight Against Cancer Program. CHS Life Jackets, which currently boast 47 members, are sponsored by Dr. Jim Beers, District Wellness Coordinator.
