She was born to Joe and Esther (nee Stricklin) Racine on August 15, 1921 in Harrisburg, Illinois.

She married Stanley A. Macieiski on August 1, 1945 in Benton, Illinois; he preceded her in death on December 15, 2001.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois, V.F.W. Auxiliary in Chester, American Legion Auxiliary in Chester, Blessed Virgin Mary Altar Sodality, First Armored Division Association and D.A.V. Auxiliary.
