Bobby Joe Jenkel

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Bobby Joe Jenkel, age 54, of Du Quoin, Ill., passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 8:38 a.m. in his home.

Bobby was born on Sept. 10, 1956 in Pinckneyville, Ill., a son to Wilson S. and Evelyn L. (Fisher) Jenkel. On April 1, 1976, he married Pamela Sue Kash in Pinckneyville, Ill. and she survives. He was self-employed and worked as a painter and drywall finisher. Bobby was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed being in the woods, hunting, fishing and trapping.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela S. Jenkel of Du Quoin, Ill.; a daughter, Rai Dean Jenkel of Du Quoin, Ill., two brothers, Jack D. (Tina) Jenkel of Pinckneyville, Ill. and James Craig (Fran) Jenkel of Marissa, Ill., his mother-in-law, Jean Kash of Du Quoin, Ill.; six nieces and nephews and many dear cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Everett "Blue" Jenkel; a nephew, J.D. Jenkel and a niece, April M. Jenkel.

Funeral services were held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Noah Schlag and Pastor Jim Jenkel officiating. Interment was in Antioch Cemetery, Tamaroa, Ill.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
