Nature's Oddity; Large Vine Climbs Around Du Quoin Home

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[A volunteer vine that no one has yet been able to identify is growing alongside the Sam and Liz Macaluso home on East South Street just east of O'Reilly's Auto Parts.

Best guess is that it is some sort of a volunteer pumpkin with leaves more than a foot across and beautiful yellow blooms.

The vine is obviously on steroids, inching southward along the house at a rate of several feet a week. It is an oddity of nature, but one that the Macaluso's feel blessed by.
