Pinckneyville Woman, Daughter Injured in Nashville Two-Car Crash
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[A Pinckneyville woman was airlifted to a St. Louis Hospital at noon Monday following an 11:40 a.m. vehicle crash near Nashville,?Ill.
Theresa M. Heine, a registered nurse, and her daughter were injured in the accident. Theresa is said to have received major injuries including at least one broken leg and facial lacerations Her daughter's injuries were less severe.
The Washington County Sheriff's Department was called to a two-vehicle crash along Rt. 127 three-quarters of a mile north of Dubois Blacktop Rd. at 11:40 a.m.
Authorities say a 2003 Jeep driven by Jonathan D. Spotanski of Troy, Ill. crossed the center line colliding with the 2006 Ford Focus driven by Theresa Heine. Both vehicles skidded off the roadway. Spotanski's vehicle spun out of control, overturned, skidded of the roadway and came to rest on the roof in a ditch. Heine's Ford Focus spun around and skidded off the roadway and came to rest in the ditch.
Mr. Spotanski's condition is not known.
