Dorothy Marie Olson

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Dorothy Marie Olson, 81, of Chester, Ill., passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Chester Memorial Hospital in Chester, Ill.

Mrs. Olson was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

She was born March 29, 1930 in Morrison, Ill. to George H. Birely and Iva E. Ballard. She married Enoch Olson on July 20, 1947 in Morrison, Ill.

Mrs. Olson is survived by her husband of Chester, Ill., daughters, Kathie (David) Keller of Mt. Carroll, Karen Olson of Rock Hill, S.C., Patricia (Mike Thompson) Olson of Chester, Ill. and Jane (Bruce) Garner of Terrell, Tex.; sons, James Olson of Pinckneyville, Ill. and Paul (Angela) Olson of Campbell Hill, Ill.; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Mary Kaye Olson.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 30 at Ellis Grove Baptist Church in Ellis Grove, Ill.

Friends called on Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of service at the Ellis Grove Baptist Church.
