Leo G. Feller
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Leo G. Feller, 91, of Du Quoin, passed away at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011 at the Rush Copley Medical Center at Aurora, Ill.
Leo had worked as a newspaper photo engraver. He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Du Quoin.
He was born July 2, 1920 at Litchfield, Ill., the son of George and Martha (Mitchell) Feller.
He married Edna Mae Reeves on Oct. 8, 1967 at Du Quoin and she preceded him in death on April 6, 2005.
He is survived by one step daughter - Karla Poling of Streator, Ill., two granddaughters - Shelly Cinnamon of Naperville, Ill. and Susan Poling of Lisle, Ill., two great grandchildren - Joshua Cinnamon and Nathan Cinnamon, both of Naperville, Ill., one brother-in-law - Darrell Frederick of Du Quoin and one sister-in-law - Emma Lou Feller of Litchfield, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother.
Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m., Monday, Aug. 15, 2011 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.
Friends called from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
Military graveside rites were conducted by the Du Quoin V.F.W. and American Legion and U.S. Army National Guard.
