Wilma J. Woodside
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Wilma J. Woodside, 88, of Du Quoin, passed away at 4:02 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011 at the Memorial Hospital at Carbondale.
Wilma was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Du Quoin.
She was born Jan. 28, 1923 at Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of Earl E. and Ethel M. (Coffel) Lashbrook.
She married Lloyd Delbert Porter in 1938 and he preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 1962. She then married Clyde R. Woodside on Nov. 30, 1968 at Du Quoin, Ill. and he preceded her in death on Aug. 16, 1985.
She is survived by one son - Lloyd Roger Porter and wife Janet of Du Quoin, three grandsons - Dane Porter and wife Julie of Du Quoin, Ryan Porter and wife Toni of Du Quoin and Adam Porter and wife Jennifer of Christopher, two step granddaughters - Tricia Doerflein and husband Mark and Shannon Owings and husband Richie, all of Pinckneyville, two sisters - Sharon Ping and Dianna Cavins and husband Bruce, all of Du Quoin, six great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one grandson - Nick Porter, three brothers - George Lashbrook, Jack Lashbrook and Paul Lashbrook, and two sisters - Janet Jump and Imogene Stowers.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Silas Morgan officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Du Quoin.
