Renovated Du Quoin Stadium Inspires Football Fashion

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[As Du Quoin Community Unit District 300 nears completion of the work on the newly renovated VanMetre football field, shirt artists are at work creating T-shirts to commemorate the historic renovation. Phillip Provart and his staff at Main Street T's in Du Quoin have created the shirt (at right) entitled "New Turf, Same Tough" which is being made available to Indian fans in all sizes at $14.95.

The Du Quoin Athletic Booster Club is also taking orders for a limited edition T-shirt (inset) called "Tough on Turf".

There are 150 of these special shirts available. The design includes the football field, track and new softball and baseball diamonds. The cost of this shirt is $20 and proceeds will benefit the Du Quoin Athletic Booster Club.
