Propane Tanker Overturns

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[An early morning propane gas leak at the Ferrellgas facility north of Du Quoin resulted in the detour of traffic at the intersection of Rt. 51 North and Rt. 154. Traffic on Rt. 154 was allowed to travel east, west or turn north on Rt. 51.

Authorities say a propane tanker began leaking while on the road. About half of the propane in the tank had leaked out as of 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Another tanker was on its way to transfer the rest of the load from the leaking truck.

Any traffic coming north out of Du Quoin was routed east on Kimmel blacktop.
