Historical Then & Now Tour Sunday, October 2

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Step back in time to picture Chester as a thriving river city town along the Mississippi. Hear about the community, culture, and businesses along the riverfront then extending up the hill to the downtown area. The River City Renewal is presenting a tour of locations beginning at the Landmark with presentations at 1 & 2 o'clock Sunday, October 2nd. Spokespersons will be at locations include the Cohen Home, The Stone House, Gilster Home and City Steps, Randolph County Museum and Old Stone Cottage, and more. A display of old photos will be at the Chester Public Library. Tickets are $10 which includes a commemorative booklet with photos and description of the historic locations. Tickets may be purchased prior to the event at the Buena Vista Bank or the Chamber of Commerce office in the Welcome Center. They are available the day of the event at the Landmark.
