Glazier's attorney Charles Mansfield moved to prohibit statements Glazier made to and in front of police immediately prior to and after his arrest.
State's Attorney David Stanton called multiple witnesses this week. The defense will present their case on Oct. 6.
Glazier is one of three defendants still facing charges in the matter. Robbie Mueller, 15, also stands accused of charges including murder and home invasion. Pre-trial motions in Mueller's case will be held Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. in front of Associate Circuit Judge Richard Aguirre.
Stephens' half-sister Dakota Wall faces obstruction charges in the matter of her death. A motion hearing for Wall will continue on Oct. 27 at 9 a.m., also in front of Associate Judge Aguirre.
One of the defendants, Carl Dane, had pleaded guilty to the murder, had been sentenced to a 60-year prison term, but took his life in a Perry County Jail cell the same day he was scheduled to be transported to prison.
Stephens was beaten, then shot and killed, then her body thrown into the Beaucoup Creek along Cudgetown Road in central Perry County.
Her body was found by fishermen a few days later.
