VOLLEYBALL: Pinckneyville powers past Steeleville

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Haley Simpson had 13 kills and 3 blocks as Pinckneyville held off Steeleville in volleyball action on Monday night, 25-20, 25-19.

Danielle Bruns added 7 kills and a team-high 4 blocks. Shannon Nehrkorn finished with 4 kills, Morgan Wild 3 and Denise Bruns 1.

Alexis Bigham and Evelyn Epplin shared the team lead with 7 digs each. Wild added 4, Da. Bruns 3.

The Lady Panthers host Marissa on Thursday for Senior Night at PCHS.
