Janet Straight named Employee of the Quarter

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Janet Straight was named the most recent Employee of the Quarter at Memorial Hospital in Chester. During a reception in the hospital dining room on Thursday afternoon, October 13, the presentation was made by Administrator Steve Hayes. In his remarks, Mr. Hayes stated, "Janet's peers nominated her because they consider her to be a person who is willing to help anyone, even if it is another department within the hospital." Janet Straight is a Nursing Asst. and has been employed at Memorial since 1986.

Janet and Jim Straight reside in Chester. They have three children, Cory, Josh and Dylan. They also have one grandson, Devin, age 11. Straight is a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester. In her leisure time she enjoys reading, embroidery, walking and spending time with her family.

She received a personal plaque, a cash gift and the parking space of her choice for the next three months. In addition, her name has been added to a larger plaque in the hospital's front lobby.
