Marlene Lou Decker 75

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Marlene Lou Decker 75 of Granite City went to be with the Lord October 12, 2011 at Caseyville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Caseyville, IL. She was born January 9, 1936 in Walsh IL to Emil F. and Lillian nee Schnoeker Eggemeyer. She married Harold C Decker May 1, 1954 in Chester, IL. She was active and a dedicated member of Harvest Community Church and worked for many years at St. Elizabeth and Anderson Hospitals in the Dietary Department. She was past President of VFW Post 5691 Women's Auxillary and was involved with the Junior Girls.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela "Ann" Keelin of Granite City, IL; two grandsons and granddaughters in law, Steven and Carolyn Keelin of Southaven, MS and Eric and Sarah Keelin of Wood River, IL; four great grandchildren, Steven Keelin Jr of Southhaven, MS and Logan, Zoey, and Maggie Keelin of Wood River; one sister and brother in law, Ruby and Herb Long of Moberly, MO and a sister in law Alice Eggemeyer of Chester, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, two sisters, Verna Bodeker and Edith Roache and two brothers Elmer and Paul Eggemeyer

A celebration of life will be held at 11 am October 15, 2011, at Harvest Community Church in Pontoon Beach with Rev. Roy Boyer officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to be made to Harvest Community Church or Heartland Hospice. Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory entrusted with professionals services.
