Margaret Mary Oestreicher

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Margaret Mary Oestreicher, age 75, of Du Quoin, Ill., passed away on Monday, Nov. 28, 2011 at 8:35 a.m. in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, Carbondale, Ill.

Margaret was born on May 5, 1936 in Swindon, Wiltshire, Great Britian, a daughter to Walter and Jesse (Deaves) Wilkins. She was retired and of the Christian faith and a member of the Home Extension, Du Quoin, Ill. She enjoyed baking, knitting and reading but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Survivors include nine children, Cherilynn M. Broy of Cocoa Beach, Fla. , Dean J. Duran of Desoto, Ill., Angela M. Duran of Marion, Ill., Barbara L. Duran Gerber of Alton, Ill., Elisa I. Duran of Alton, Ill., Michelle I. (Toby) Jones of Pinckneyville, Ill., Kevin R.L. (Dawn) Oestreicher of Elkville, Ill., Traci M.L. (Sean) Oestreicher Haney of Du Quoin, Ill. and Kerry W. (Natosha) Oestreicher of Elkville, Ill.; 18 grandchildren, Chad, Ryan, Julian, Dustin, Austin, Eric, Brad, Wade, Melissa, Ashley, Trenton, Dani, Briana, Erin, Gabrielle, Grace, Kallie and Kenzie; 10 great-grandchildren and a niece, Ann Greenaway.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Leonard Wilkins; a sister, Irene Vincent; and a son-in-law, Kenton A. Broy.

Funeral services were held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill., on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Collin Hirsch officiating. Interment was in Paradise Cemetery, Du Quoin, Ill.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill. on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
