WRESTLING: Wildcats wrestle a win away from PCHS on Senior Night
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Pinckneyville hosted Anna-Jonesboro for their final home wrestling match of the 2011 season on Wednesday night, but couldn't put the finishing touches on a team victory as the Wildcats walked out 42-33 winners.
Six individual Panther wrestlers were victorious on the night, three by pinfall. Garrett Gresham picked up a 13-8 win on points in the 126-lb. division and Luke Zeidler (138) and Michael Jones (182) won via forfeit.
Pinfall winners for PCHS included Trevor Williams (106), Chris Hagan (120), and Richard Jones (152). Williams won at 1:53 in the second period, Hagan at 1:19 of the second, and R. Jones at 1:40 of the first.
Dakota Behiter (113), Devan Schubert (132), Jarod Winkelman (145), Jake Schmidt (170) and Aaron Dunn (195) also participated for the much-improved Panthers, coached by L.J. Heisner.
Pinckneyville's grapplers return to action at Harrisburg on Tuesday evening.
