Terall Koehler

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Terall "Terry" Koehler, age 72, of Florissant, Mo., formerly of Ashley, Ill., passed away on Monday, Jan. 9, 2012 in Christian Northeast Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Terry was born on Sept. 16, 1939 in Du Quoin, Ill., a son to Eileen (Ellermeyer) (Koehler) Nowicki. He graduated from Ashley High School, Ashley, Ill. in 1957. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. In his lifetime, he had worked for over 30 years as a supervisor/warehouse man at Madison Warehouse, St. Louis and Wentzville, Mo. and he enjoyed gardening and growing flowers.

Survivors include his sister, Janet (Robert) Hamil of Ashley, Ill.; a niece, Rachel (Ira) Copus of Pinckneyville, Ill.; a nephew, Phillip (Lisa) Hamil of Nashville, Ill.; a great-niece, Sarah Copus; a great-nephew, Clayton Copus; an aunt, Nina Morris of Du Quoin, Ill.; a cousin, Marsha Easterly of Du Quoin, Ill.; his special friend, Herman "Charles" Rury of Florissant, Mo. and his family, Michael Rury of Pinckneyville, Ill., Kandy Rury (fianc&#233;, Joey Polisky) of Du Quoin, Ill., Kristy King of Pinckneyville, Ill., Michael Rury, Dakota Duppong, Dustin Duppong, Vance Polisky, Walter King III, Ryan Rury and Teigan Rury; his cockatiel, Bebe and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eileen Nowicki and stepfather, Vincent Nowicki.

Funeral services were held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment was in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill. Military rites were provided by Presswood-Daffron American Legion Post #2504.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
