Roy E. Kellerman

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Roy E. Kellerman, 80, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 12:35 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012 at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Roy had worked as a warranty specialist at Massey Ferguson Company for twenty-five years. He was a member of the Beaucoup Baptist Church in Pinckneyville. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was born Feb. 4, 1931 at Pinckneyville, IL, the son of Winfred and Florence Oma (Geistdorfer) Kellerman.

He is survived by four children - Dora Phillips of Willis, Mich., Laura Zuber of Wrightwood, Calif., Sylvia Abdel-Rahman of Redford, Mich., and Roy Kellerman, Jr. of Livonia, Mich., four grandchildren - Leila Abdel-Rahman, Kelsey Phillips, Abigail Zuber, and Stacey Phillips, four siblings - Winona Hampleman and husband Claude of Pinckneyville, Robert Kellerman and wife Shirlene of Pinckneyville, Ruby Lynch and husband Richard of Pinckneyville, and Sue Kuhnert and husband Roger of Swanwick.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother - Russell Kellerman and one sister - Gertrude Woodside.

Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at the Beaucoup Baptist Church in Pinckneyville with Rev. Mark Lee officiating.

Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday at the Beaucoup Baptist Church in Pinckneyville and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the church.

Burial was in the Mueller Hill Cemetery at Pinckneyville.

Military graveside rites were conducted by the Daffron-Presswood American Legion Post 2504 and the Army National Guard.

Friends may make memorials to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
