Leo Morski

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Leo Morski, age 87, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Saturday morning, Feb. 4, 2012 at 11:52 a.m. at Coulterville Care Center, Coulterville, Ill.

Leo was born in Moundsville, W.V., on March 26, 1924, the son of Frank and Helena (Jarosik) Morski. He was united in marriage to Margaret E. Baudison on June 15, 1946 at Todds Mill, Ill. and she preceded him in death on April 8, 2010. Leo was a United States Marine who proudly served his country during World War II. He had retired from Consolidation Coal Company as a coal miner and surveyor. Leo was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Nashville, Ill. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Leo is survived by his son, Daniel Joseph (Paula) Morski, Sr. of Pinckneyville, Ill.; four brothers and sisters, John (Emily) Morski of Florida, Margaret (Lee) Skovran of Flordia and Dorothy (Ed) Mougin of Virginia; one grandson, Daniel Joseph (Trisha) Morski, Jr. of Nashville, Ill.; three great-grandchildren, Garrett, Auroa and Bela Morski and many dear nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret and several brothers and sisters.

At Leo's request his body was donated to St. Louis University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Mo.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association, American Cancer Society or St. Anns Catholic Church, Nashville, Ill.
