Chester Stingers Youth Football and Cheerleading
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Chester Stingers is a youth football and cheerleading program that has been formed in Chester! For many years, children and families from the area have traveled 25 miles to surrounding communities to play youth football and participating in cheerleading. Many families toady find it difficult to make that type of commitment whether it is due to the increased price in gas and food or increased demands at home and work. A youth football league and cheerleading program in THIS community has been a long time coming, IT IS NOW HERE! The Chester Stingers will be an organization in the Southwestern Illinois Football Conference.
Details: We have a system set up that any child who wants to play will have the opportunity! Registrations prices and policies are listed below. Later during the playing season we will be raffling off a cash prize of $1,000! When you pay your full registration fee you will receive that registration amount in raffle tickets for the $1,000 prize. These raffle tickets are yours to do with what you want. You may sell all your tickets (that money would be yours) and your registration would be free of charge, or , put your name on these tickets for a great chance to win the $1,000 cash prize.
Football: Every first year player, no matter what age they start the program, will be responsible to pay the league a $100 equipment fee along with the yearly fee of $60. Ages for availability are from 5-14. The player's age shall be considered that as of September 1st of the current year. The Chester Stingers organization wishes to include participation of 5 years old, but want to acknowledge that not all organizations must offer participation to 5 year olds. No Southwestern Illinois Youth Football Conference player shall have completed the 8th, nor be in the 9th grade. A player cannot turn 15 during the designated season including the playoff.
1st year player: $160
2nd year and thereafter: $60
Cheerleading: There will be a yearly registration fee of $30. The cheerleader will responsible for purchasing their own uniform which will be theirs to keep. Ages of availability will be 3-14. If there is a 3 year old cheerleader, a parent must accompany the cheerleader at all times during practices and games. No cheerleader may have completed the 8th grade, nor be in the 9th grad.
Date of registrations:
Friday March 9 6-8 pm
Sunday April 15 2-4 pm
Saturday May 5 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Registration will be held at Vasquez Fitness Center
We will ask for a $25 down payment towards the registration fees at time of registration. Registration fees are to be paid in full by Saturday May 5th. Please ask for payment options if needed! Again, NO CHILD WHO WANTS TO PLAY WILL BE LEFT OUT!
Due to 2012 being the first year of the Chester Stingers, It is required that all players are present at registration for fitting of equipment. **Player must bring birth certificate to the registration.**
