Educators Can Earn Free CPDU
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[A program entitled "Universal Design for Learning and Response to Intervention" will be offered Tuesday, March 13, at the Chester Community Grade School. All area educators are invited to this program sponsored by the Beta Delta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma. All participants will earn 1 FREE Continuing Professional Development Unit (CPDU). The program should be of interest to teachers, speech/language pathologists and educational support personnel.
The free program will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Chester Grade School with light refreshments available at 3:45 p.m. The presentation will focus on UDL and RTI - the latest acronyms being bounced around the educational arena. Participants will learn how to use UDL and RTI to build students' oral language skills, to help students access the curriculum, and review classroom examples to help engage students in learning.
Members of the Beta Delta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma are pleased to provide this opportunity for all area educators to earn a free CPDU. Please attend the informative presentation on Tuesday, March 13, at the Chester Grade School.
