This year's tournament hosted 274 bowlers (up by 34 bowlers from the 2011 tournament). Bowlers from Randolph County, Trico and Jackson and St. Louis, MO were present.
The tournament is also sponsored by Venegoni Distributing, James Kelly, representing Budweiser and Busch.
All monies raised are solely used to support the American Legion Senior and Junior teams from Steeleville American Legion BBK Post 480.
A sincere "thank you" goes out to all bowlers, sponsors, spectators and anyone who donated time, money or helped in any way towards this tournament and Legion baseball.
Next year's tournament is tentatively set for February 2012 at Legion Bowl in Steeleville.
Speaking on behalf of the tournament committee, tournament director, Dave Wente said "Things went very well all weekend and we're thankful for everyone's participation and support. We're looking forward to the 2012 baseball season."
