SCAM WARNINGS
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Sheriff Mike Hoelscher would like to warn citizens to keep alert to scams. In recent weeks the Sheriff's Department has received reports of citizens being approached in store parking lots such as Walmart and being solicited to make purchases. Also be alert to strangers going door to door requesting assistance and money; especially late at night. Sheriff Hoelscher advises against opening the door to needy strangers and calling your local police department or the Sheriff's Office and allowing law enforcement to provide assistance to these individuals.
