Chester man arrested on various charges

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[On March 25, the Randolph County Sheriff&#39;s Office arrested Joshua A. Kincaid, 25 of Chester for various crimes in Randolph County.

Kincaid was arrested after an investigation by the Randolph County Sheriff&#39;s Office with the assistance of the Public, a Jackson County Sheriff&#39;s Office Crime Scene Deputy and the Chester Police Department.

Sheriff Mike Hoelscher states that on March 24, 2012, Kincaid allegedly burglarized a residence on Diamond Cross Road, Chester, where jewelry valued at $8,000 was taken. Kincaid then allegedly burglarized a residence on View Valley Road, Rockwood, where items and jewelry valued at about $10,000 were taken. Kincaid then allegedly burglarized an unoccupied residence on County Road 5 where a shotgun was taken.

Sheriff Hoelscher states that a tip from the public helped identify Kincaid as a suspect. Police then executed Search Warrants at Kincaid&#39;s residence and his car.

Sheriff Hoelscher states that it appears that all items taken during the crime spree were recovered by his Office, but the investigation continues.

Kincaid was charged by the Sheriff&#39;s Office with two counts of Residential Burglary, one count of Burglary, one count Possession of a Stolen Firearm and one count of Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.

Kincaid was incarcerated at the Randolph County Jail until bond could be set by a judge.
