Money Mondays Returns to Aid SWIC Students

Finding ways to pay for college may be a little easier when Southwestern Illinois College hosts Money Mondays this spring at the Red Bud Campus, 500 W. South Fourth St.
From 6:30-7:30 p.m., Mondays, April 30 and May 7, SWIC staff will be on hand in RBC Room 114 to help complete forms and guide students in their search for options to pay for school. Necessary items for current or prospective students are their 2011 U.S tax return and their parents' or spouse's 2011 U.S. tax forms. These tax forms are the basis that financial aid will be awarded.
At this event, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be completed online. This application is require for students to be able to obtain loans and grants through the government. Information on other avenues for finding aid will be presented also.
