Jorge Perez became involved in a shop argument with an employee identified as Shannon Wallace in what Perez family members are calling an unprovoked attack resulting from bad blood between the two men.

Perez remains in guarded condition in a St. Louis hospital with skull and chest injuries and a lacerated liver.
