Barbara Ann Fisher
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Barbara Ann Fisher, 72, of Du Quoin, passed away at 8:43 a.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at her residence.
Barbara was a homemaker.
She was born April 5, 1940 at Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Adeline (Szczeblewski) Pearson. She was raised by her grandmother - Cecelia Szczeblewski.
She married Allen W. Fisher on July 20, 1957 at Marion, Ill. and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, three daughters - Tammy Strange-Spann and husband Warren of Du Quoin, Sandy Nussel of Du Quoin and Pammy Brueggemann and friend Ken of Griffith, Ind., one son - Allen J. Fisher and wife Terry of Swanwick, two sisters - Beverly Hoffman of Du Quoin and Babe Kajowski of Maryland, one brother - Carl Pearson of New Carlisle, Ind., seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, grandmother, one grandchild, one sister - Diane, and one brother - Lester.
Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Fred Bishop officiating.
Friends called from Noon until the time of service on Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial was in the Primitive Baptist Cemetery at Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Primitive Baptist Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
