Phyllis A. George

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Phyllis A. George, 64, of Tamaroa, passed away at 10:20 p.m., Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at her residence.

Phyllis was a homemaker and had worked for Home Healthcare. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She was born Oct. 9, 1947 at Tamaroa, Ill., the daughter of Muriel Johnson. She was raised by her grandparents.

She married Howard G. George on Aug. 26, 1963 at Perryville, Mo. and he preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 2009.

She is survived by four children - Marilyn Burgess and husband Eric of Tamaroa, Caroline Burgess and husband Eugene of South Carolina, Lisa Livingston of Tamaroa and Howard George, Jr. of Tamaroa, two sisters - Marie Buchanan of Indianapolis, Ind. and Rose Mary Matlock of Boise City, Okla., nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother and husband.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Searby

Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Jackie Joe Davison officiating.

Friends called from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial was in the Tamaroa Cemetery at Tamaroa.
