Ruth M. Huffstutler

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ruth M. Huffstutler, age 95, of Fairview Heights, Ill. formerly of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012 in Des Peres Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Ruth was born on April 5, 1917 in Scheller, Ill. Ruth was a daughter to Earl and Flo Lee (Taylor) Shoemaker. She married Carl Huffstutler in Perryville, Mo., on Sept. 6, 1941 and he preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 1979. Ruth was a member of Roe's Dale Baptist Church in Pinckneyville, Ill. Ruth was a member of Women's Missionary Union at Roe's Dale Baptist Church. She loved cooking, embroidering and sewing.

Ruth is survived by two children, Roy Huffstutler of Effingham, Ill. and Debbie (Rick) Hepp of Pinckneyville, Ill.; nine grandchildren, Sherry (Larry) Goldman, Gay (Fred) Eisenhauer, Carla (Tim) Hankla, Jeff (Debbie) Huffstutler, Tammy (John) Payne, Tracey (Jamie) Lidster, Todd (Susan) Farthing, Amanda Knott (Brad Chaney) and Joshua Lambert; 16; great grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren; brother, Jim (Wilma) Shoemaker of Centralia, Ill. and sister, Joan Emling of Du Quoin, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Bob Huffstutler and his wife Beulah; two daughters, Nancy Lee and Joy and her husband Dale Farthing; grandchildren, Debra Lynn and Robert Dean Huffstutler Jr.; two great-grandsons, PFC Wyatt Eisenhauer and Dustin Harris; brother, Cloyd Shoemaker and sister, Earline House.

Funeral services were held at Roe's Dale Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Charles Smith officiating. Interment was in Antioch Cemetery, Tamaroa, Ill.

Friends called at Roe's Dale Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Memorials may be made to the PFC Wyatt Eisenhauer Memorial Fund.
