Delores Henseler

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Delores (Queen) Henseler, 72, of Collinsville, Ill., passed away at 11:20 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Mrs. Henseler was a member of Meadow Heights Baptist Church. she was very active in the Meadow Heights Sunday School.

She was born Saturday, June 17, 1939 in Hammond, Ind. to Walter and Bertha (Bird) Queen.

Mrs. Henseler is survived by her husband, James Henseler of Collinsville; sons, Gary Henseler of Glen Carbon, Ill. and Greg Henseler of Du Quoin; granddaughters, Jennifer (Steve) Knebel of Collinsville and Chelsea Henseler of Collinsville; great-granddaughter, Kayleigh Henseler of Collinsville; sisters, Peggy (Grant) Taylor of Tamaico, Ill. and Anita (Jerry) Dennison of Waterloo, Ill. and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Queen; mother, Bertha Queen and sister, Virginia Mills.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 5 at 10 a.m. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville with Pastor Mike Barnes officiating. Burial was in Cudgetown Cemetery in Du Quoin.

Visitation was Friday, May 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville.
