Pepsi becomes official soft drink of Country Stomp 2012
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Pepsi MidAmerica and Border North Productions are pleased to announce their partnership in Pepsi becoming the Official Soft Drink of Country Stomp 2012, held June 8-10 at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex at Sparta, IL. The three day music festival features headliners Eric Church, Josh Turner, The Randy Rogers Band, Lee Brice, Uncle Kracker, Aaron Lewis of Staind, Wade Bowen and Randy Houser on the main stage.
"We at Pepsi MidAmerica are proud to become the Official Soft Drink of Country Stomp," said Senior Marketing Manager Doug Deaton of Pepsi MidAmerica. "It has alway been our goal to support local events on a local level within the communities that we live and work in."
Pepsi MidAmerica is a long-standing member of the Southern Illinois entertainment community, supporting many major events such as the Du Quoin State Fair, Herrinfesta Italiana, and now Country Stomp.
"We are grateful for the way that Pepsi has come in to be a major sponsor of Country Stomp," said Curt Jeffers of Border North Productions, the promoter of the event. "We look forward to working with them."
According to Deaton, Pepsi MidAmerica will be placing radio and print ads with regional media outlets, posters, and instore displays. Additionally, there will be ticket contest registrations at point-of-sale locations throughout the region.
Additionally, Pepsi MidAmerica will bring their entire array of products to the festival including Pepsi, Mt. Dew and Dr. Pepper lines.
"We will have very strong presence at Country Stomp," Deaton said. "We look forward to seeing all of our friends and neighbors for a great weekend of music and hometown fun."
