Rita E. Kelley

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Rita E. Kelley (nee Epplin), 81, of Waterloo, Ill., passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 in Belleville, Ill.

She was born July 8, 1930 in Du Quoin, Ill., a daughter to the late Herman V. and Rose M. (nee Stein) Epplin. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Church.

Surviving are her husband, Edward "Bob" Kelley; children, Kay (Dale) Haudrich, Kerry (Kathy) Kelley, Kris (Deneen) Wild, Karl (Delonda Kelley) and Kora (Les) Hurley; 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Kevin Kelley and brother, Leo Epplin.

Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 25 at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Waterloo with Father Dale Maxfield officiating. Interment was in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Waterloo, Ill.

Friends called at Quernheim Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 24 and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday.

Memorials may be made to Saints Peter and Paul Church in Waterloo or the American Cancer Society Road to Recovery.
