Tornado Anniversary Observed by Sister Paper

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The darkest day in modern times for the city of Marion arrived at 3:16 p.m. May 29, 1982 when a tornado ripped through the city, leaving massive destruction and 10 dead.

Our sister newspaper, the Marion Daily Republican, has recalled the day of destruction and the aftermath-- what has been termed "The Miracle of Marion."
