Rt. 14 Between Old Du Quoin and Christopher Closed to All But Local Residents Aug. 3-6

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Illinois Department of Transportation would like to alert motorists traveling Illinois Rt. 14 from Old Du Quoin to Christopher of an upcoming road closure. Beginning Friday, Aug. 3 at 6 p.m. Illinois Rt. 14 will be closed to ALL through traffic. Local residents will have access to their driveways, but may have to detour to reach their drive. The road closure will be in effect until 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5. The closure is necessary to allow highway contractors to remove and replace two box culverts in separate locations along Rt. 14. ALL through traffic will have to find an alternate route.
