Catherine M. Gulley

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Catherine M. Gulley, age 89, of Du Quoin, Ill., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012 at 10:48 a.m. in her home.

Catherine was born on April 4, 1923 in Collinsville, Ill., a daughter to John and Marguerite (Sassoe) Marco. On Nov. 12, 1949, she married Lowell L. "Snooks" Gulley in Piggott, Ark. and he preceded her in death after 61 years of marriage on Feb. 9, 2011. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses, Du Quoin, Ill. and enjoyed being a homemaker, raising her flowers and doing her pioneer work as a Jehovah's Witness.

Survivors include her son, Steven Gulley of Du Quoin, Ill.; her beloved pet, Mr. Cat and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister, Delores Brown.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill. on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Mark Bruno officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Du Quoin, Ill.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill. on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
