Smaller Pinckneyville Hospital Approved

The Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board has granted an alteration of permit for Pinckneyville Community Hospital to build a smaller replacement facility that was originally planned when the certificate of need was issued.

The board met Tuesday and Wednesday in Normal, Ill. PCH received a one-year extension on the certificate of need earlier this year. The original CON was set to expire in October.
