Cutler and Percy Postal Hours Cut in Half
Postal hours in the towns of Cutler and Percy will be cut to four hours after the first of the year. Willisville is next.
The United States Postal Service this summer gave residents in these communities options in a survey.
The choices were to change post office hours of operation, everyone could choose to have mail delivered instead of placed in boxes; they could instead have a village post office at a local business, or they could go to another post office in a neighboring town.
Percy, Cutler, Willisville, and Steeleville are all within a few miles of each other. Customers opted to have the hours of operation cut.
