Phyllis A. Desio

Phyllis A. Desio, 82, of Du Quoin, passed away at 10:35 p.m., Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 at the Fairview Nursing Center in Du Quoin.

Phyllis was a homemaker and retired secretary. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin.

She was born Dec. 15, 1930 at Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of Lyle and Marjorie (Summers) Cook.

She married Frank J. Desio on April 26, 1970 at Chicago, Ill., and he survives.

She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother - Charles Cook.

Per Phyllis' request, cremation services were held. There will be no public visitation or funeral.
