Accident on City Stairs severs finger

On Sunday, January 6, 2013 a 15-year-old minor was sliding down the City Stairs by the River, according to Chester Police Chief McKinney, when an accident occurred causing the child's right index finger to be severed. Chester Police and Fire responded to the accident. The child was taken to Children's Hospital in Saint Louis.
