Du Quoin home invasion investigated

Du Quoin assistant Chief of Police Jamie Ellermeyer said the department is expecting more arrests in a home invasion Friday night at 115 North Hickory Street in Du Quoin.

Two ladies who reside at this residence say three black males--two of them with handguns-entered their home and demanded the "stuff"--which police believe was drugs and money.

The men were partially masked.

One of the ladies apparently knew two of the suspects. One arrest has been made, but that name is not being released until police finish their investigation and make other arrests.
